RATNEI in its
3rd Year:
The third round of RATNEI trainings began
in January 2007, and we are expecting an even more successful year in
terms of participation. IHO-RATNEI program has truly established
itself as a center of HIV/AIDS training and education within the region
and is involved with many other state and grassroots level
organizations also working in this area. RATNEI has firmly brought
together AIDS experts, to collaborate and effectively address the issue
of HIV/AIDS in the region. Even more importantly, the multiple
level approach of trainings (advanced for health professionals and
grassroots level for the community) is effectively disseminating
crucial HIV/AIDS information into all sectors of society. During this
round of trainings, we are hoping to grow in our networking portion,
follow-up and retraining of previous trainees, and continue to expand
our programs into other areas of the region.
